First try:
Cool.??

Second try:
Quite simply searched, found, finished ...

And now again right:
On our way from Leipzig on vacation to New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, Cleveland, Toledo, Chicago, Sioux City, Badlands NP, Mount Rushmore, Bighorn Mountains, Cody, Yellowstone NP, Jackson, Grand Teton NP, Salt Lake City, Bryce Canyon NP, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, Williams, Las Vegas, Mojave Desert, Los Angeles, Visalia, Yosemite NP, Modesto and San Francisco we came right here. Of course, we also wanted this one GeoCache / Benchmark on the To-Do list to pick up. And now there is a smiling face. There were no problems ... Yes, the destination fits. Thus: the end is good, all right ...

In other words:
Everything is there, where it belongs, undamaged and waiting for the next visitors.

Now we like to say:
Thank you for your GeoCache / Benchmark and another smiley on our map.

While finding a cache in the area, I remembered that the tank and antenna were both benchmarks. Got a few pictures from different vantage points.

I had a lot of fun going around Fullerton this morning finding benchmarks and geocaches. I would like to find 100 benchmarks a year from now on. There are few geocaches to find near my home in Laredo, TX, but there are a lot more benchmarks to be discovered.

Can only get within a couple feet of this mast since the City of Fullerton keeps the area locked up. There is now a second mast behind the primary one.

The only problem with this intersection station was figuring out which mast was the proper one (Google Earth helped on that), and then finding somewhere to take the picture from (the car GPS street map helped with that one).

OK. I'm claiming this one even though it is not a disk. The whole bloody tower is the 'disk'! I've got a photo of it and therefore I'm claiming it. An easy find (Hey. Just look UP!)it is right where the description says it is. I have a cache hidden nearby so this is a familiar area.
Located on very private property, it is not a good idea to try and go into the site. Tigger 2
