Fairly easy to find based upon description and Klemmer & TeddyBearMama's photos. Coordinates on the benchmark page had me over 300 feet to the east. These coordinates will probably work better:

N34° 06.051
W117° 46.378

As did other's I had to peel back some of the ivy to get a shot of the benchmark.

OUT WITH NT

Since there are no clases for awhile, it makes a good time to search. Pretty easy if you read the info. Still in good shape. My picture doesn't do any justice.

Recovered as described. Surprised no one has logged this mark before. Description is up to date, despite being written in 1934! I guess when you put it on a building that turns out to be historic, and is well preserved, it works out well. Very handsome building. Had to gently move aside some of the ivy to get to the 1931 benchmark. Does this make the University of La Verne an Ivy League school?

The building cornerstone. Nice sentiment, and still true in 2007!
