RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1932 (CP) ON THE LOW FLAT ROCKY POINT, ABOUT 0.6 MILE W OF CAYUCOS POINT, ABOUT 150 FEET N OF A LARGE JAGGED ROCK AT HIGH-WATER LINE, ABOUT 12 FEET BACK (E) FROM FACE OF LOW BLUFF (FLOOD-WATER LINE). SMALL DETACHED OUTCROPPING ROCKS ABOUT STATION. TO REACH STATION FROM CAYUCOS DRIVE N ALONG COAST HIGHWAY 2.7 MILES, TURN LEFT, (S) THROUGH LOCKED GATE AND GO 0.3 MILE ACROSS OPEN FIELD TO STATION.

RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1933 (FLP) STATION RECOVERED AS DESCRIBED AND IN GOOD CONDITION. A LARGE HYDROGRAPHIC SIGNAL WAS BUILT OVER STATION.
01/01/1934 by CGS (MONUMENTED)
RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 (FHH) ON THE LOW FLAT ROCKY LAND ON THE FIRST MOST PROMINENT POINT N OF CAYUCOS ABOUT 1/2 MILE N OF POINT CAYUCOS, ABOUT 1 MILE S FROM VILLA CREEK ABOUT 30 METERS FROM THE HIGH-WATER LINE. SMALL DETACHED OUTCROPPING ROCKS ABOUT STATION.
01/01/1962 by CGS (MONUMENTED)
RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1962 (CTH) THE STATION MARK, REFERENCE MARK OF 1916, AND THE WITNESS MARK OF 1883 WERE RECOVERED, EACH IN GOOD CONDITION. THE BURIED BOTTLE MARKING THE 1883 STATION WAS RECOVERED AND REMARKED, THIS SEPARATELY DESCRIBED. THE PREVIOUS DESCRIPTIONS ARE ADEQUATE. Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1996. The horizontal coordinates are valid at the epoch date displayed above. The epoch date for horizontal control is a decimal equivalence of Year/Month/Day.
  • The orthometric height was scaled from a topographic map.
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
