Moulder Hall was torn down in 2003. Disk A1122 is gone with it. Construction of new 8-story dormitories began on this site in June 2004 and are expected to open in time for the Fall 2005 semester.

AT SAN JOSE, AT THE NORTH CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF NINTH AND SAN SALVADOR STREETS, AT SAN JOSE STATE COLLEGE, SET VERTICALLY IN THE SOUTH FACE AND 1.0 FOOT EAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MOULDER HALL (BUILDING F), 23.0 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF SAN SALVADOR STREET, AND 46.6 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF NINTH STREET.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (G = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
