While waiting to meet some friends for dinner, I used my Benchmark locator app and learned that this was within walking distance. I am including an area shot as well as a closeup.

Beautiful building! Glad they uncovered the benchmark to preserve this bit of history.

I go by here a lot, and I finally noticed that there was a benchmark here. The school was surprisingly busy for a summer vacation day. No problem finding this easy benchmark.

Found with CarlottaP

Oaknest and I found this benchmark easily, while the nearby drama class practiced their skit.

Found easily with mytwndr - its been a while since the last find, so I will add a picture as proof for the BMs good condition.

Grabbed a couple of BMs on the way to work this morning after researching them yesterday. School is on winter break so I thankfully had the area to myself.

Easy find. Once you know where it's at you can spot it as you drive by.

Fun to find this one after being stumped on the first outing. A review of the NGS placement notes was mandated since the coordinates are off by a bunch of meters from those given on this page. Not quite as pretty a benchmark as others I've seen, but nicely placed.

Easy trip. Good parking on the weekend.

Found it this morning before work

Rosie and I found it as described on the way to preschool. Didn't have the camera with us, but it was in good shape, and easy to find. Didn't even have to get off my bike.

Easy find. After finding it I went back to the truck to get my camera to tak a photo and forgot to bring it. OH well, I still found it.

I first drove by a few weeks ago and decided not to look like some creepy pervert like bullit did so I came back late in the day, about 6pm.

I forgot to log this benchmark, until I noticed that I had a waypoint in the GPSr for it. My coordinates agrre pretty well with budd-rdc.

Few days ago, I was able to spot this benchmark from a distance, driving at the speed limit, going northbound on Mathilda Ave. I decided to visit today to take a closer look and take readings with two GPSr's.

The benchmark is in good condition.

It's nice to see an old school structure still standing, not victimized by bond measures that cycle constructions but don't directly improve the quality of our education.

Found it as described.

Out on our annual Thanksgiving morning caching hunts, working up an appetite. Found this benchmark in between caches. It
ashame that they've painted over this BM. Found exactly where it was suppose to be.

Still there, but the construction crew has painted over the disk.

Construction still under way. There was a piece of plywood leaning against the wall, blocking view of this, so I sneaked in to check. It's there.

This one was easy to find, but was behind some construction fencing. Looks like it was getting partially painted over by the construction.

Butano shared where to look so we cruised on by and found it in pretty good shape.

Went out and found this one fairly easily based mostly on the description of the site. In the wall of the high school, just as described. It was in good shape.
