Found in good condition at N38 58.333 W077 10.835 with 16' accuray. Camera issues and have lost the photos of this bench mark.

The disk is near the left edge of the picture. It is painted yellow and is near the end of the wall. The view is toward the East along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. The Canal was operated from 1828 to 1924.

  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.) The vertical order pertains to the superseded datum.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
