Mark found as described. This mark was very likely set during the leveling run of 1919 conducted by Loren P. Plummer, Jr See Bulletin 21 of the Department of Conservation and Development State of NJ

Found as described.
Arrow is in fair shape and is hard to spot with out and aid of sand or dirt.

Found as described, and immediately east of house No. 6, about 36 feet northwest of the extended centerline of Cottage Ave, and about 16 feet northeast of the northeast curb of State Highway 49 (aka Main Street). Handheld coordinates are N39-32.860 W075-24.819.

AN ARROW, CUT IN THE GRANITE.

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
