Sad to see another one gone. This was torn down today.

Interesting how this was originally blue, then red, and now it is blue again!!!

We drove by this standpipe at least twice maybe 4 times today. By the time I knew it was a benchmark it was too dark and we were on our way out of town.

It was too dark for a photo when geojo1, horselady9 and I spotted this benchmark after a day of caching.

drive by it several times a day. Hard to miss

Not hard to spot this one

There was a full moon starting to peek out and an antique car show in town-the perfect night to go for a cruise for benchmarks! As I was driving around, I wondered, "Could that be one?" Sure enough, it was!

Alive and well

Observed the standpipe. It is located immediately west of the intersection of West Ave and 11th Street, painted pale blue and rises about 125 feet.
