Stopped when I noticed the disk designation spraypainted in pink on the bridge.

Found this one very interesting. Makes me want to do more.

Use to come down near this benchmark all the time during the summer for cookouts at the near by club. Didn't even know it was there..

This mark was reported Not Found by USPSQD in 2004 because, I suppose, there had been some work done on the bridge, and perhaps because the person didn't know what either Northeast or a Wingwall was.

The east end of the bridge. Mark is on the wingwall just to the right of the concrete structure, where all PADH marks are located.

Greetings Geocachers/Benchmarkers,

I found this PDH benchmark mark disk with no difficulty. It’s as described. Coordinates and directions are adequate for recovery.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
