My Grandson & I got the dirtbikes out & went out to find this one. Found as described in good condition, Thousands of Ladybugs all over the rocks on top.

Found this near a clue for The Falcon Challenge Geocahche. Great view. Actual Coords are 39 00.673 104 55.633

It's off the beaten path and in a good place so in good shape.

Awesome! This one is atop a hill that offers a great view of Eagle Peak, Pikes Peak, the Rockies, the plains, the surrounding forest... I'll post photos when I get them developed and scanned. You have to scramble up a boulder to get to it, at least the way I came.

3 peaks to the south are, left to right, Eagle Peak (upon which is a cache and benchark); unnamed peak (upon which is Stanley's Revenge cache) and another unnamed peak (where I plan to set FalconStash 2).

FOLLOWING RAMPART RANGE ROAD 1.4 MI. TO INTERSECTION, THENCE CONTINUE EASTERLY 0.6 MI. TO HY UP RANCH, THENCE RIGHT (EASTERLY) 0.6 MI. TO FARMHOUSE, CONTINUE ALONG MAIN TRAIL EASTERLY 3.9 MI. TO FORKS, THENCE LEFT (NORTHERLY) 0.6 MI. TO FORKS, THENCE RIGHT (EASTERLY) ALONG STANLEY CANON TRAIL 1.8 MI. TO FORKS, THENCE LEFT (NORTHERLY) 0.2 MI. TO FORKS, THENCE LEFT (NORTHWESTERLY) 0.3 MI.   • The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in January 1993.
  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.)
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
