Found in good condition as described. Central Park Avenue is split by I-87, and the station is along the east side of the southbound lanes of Central Park Avenue.

Spotted this from my window seat on the Beeline 20 bus. Still counts? Well, I will return for a "trophy shot".

I spent a fairly productive Tuesday and Thursday this week in Yonkers, New York, near where it borders New York City (The Bronx). I had 4 FOUNDs out of 8 stations, as well as 1 FOUND for 4 stations I checked that I had previously not found.

This was one of the easy ones. It's on the top of the concrete retaining wall right next to the sidewalk at the SW corner of the bridge. The description is correct, although the scaled coordinates put you on the other side of the bridge.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
