The power plant is long gone, although the land is still owned by Consolidated Edison. The area is a grimy industrial zone on the upper Harlem River, and a parking lot now occupies the original site of the power plant. The location is the area southeast of West 201st Street and Ninth Avenue, bounded by the river on the east and the south sides.
