Easy to find. This one hasn't changed since the last photo was taken.

The disc is scratched but the bridge where it is located is in great shape.

Yes, the disk is scratched, but what a nice bridge! I found this one while working my way up Millbrook Road finding a few benchmarks and a number of rivets.

This one is just down the street from where I do occasional pet care so I walked over to look at it & it looks to be in the same condition as the previous finder's photos show.

Found this benchmark on Millbrook Rd (Rt. 602) on a bridge span approx 1/2 mile from Main Street. The benchmark had numerous scratch marks on it as it is in a very visible location. This was one of 4 benchmarks that we found today.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
