The 3 GALS found this one intact, but the bridges don't look too good. May not be here much longer.

Hot hot day in spring found easily but the road was busy and the GR very hot! The 3GALS made the find and headed to the nearby Blair Winery!! Better hurry if you want to log these bridge disks. The bridges are deteriorating fast and one is already under construction.

Found this one with no trouble, just where it should have been. Sometimes it is harder to find a parking spot than to find the benchmark. In the area dropping off my youngest daughter @ KU, for B-Ball Team Camp.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
