the ground was covered in snow except for where the benchmark was. we saw it right away from the car.

Found today on the way home from geocaching. Disk is in good shape.

Well, its a sad story really... The nice weather is here! Daylight savings too... so of course its natural to want to be outside DOING GEOCACHES! but 3 weeks ago i broke my foot, so im out of commission for a while. then i realized that to find the benchmarks i dont really have to hike. so today i found 3! i grabbed a friend and went out for a day of "benchmarking". i love geocaching, but this will have to do for now. i got to be outside, driving around with the windows down all day. it was nice.

this one was the first one i went to... and i couldnt find it! so we gave up. we thought it was on top of the cannon... so me, with a broken foot, was trying my hardest to climb up on to it, but i had no luck... so we left. then, we went back after we did the other two, and we found it!

Driving by golf course and found it, thanks for the pics, pretty cool. I've been going by that for years....

Found as described.

Looking southeast at the described monument to the Battle of Short Hills, the mark is at the white notebook, just this side of the driveway.

This station was very nicely laid out, thanks to some recent surveying. There was even a large arrow and its designation nicely printed in the street!
