I have passed this little bridge so many times in my life. Never realizing it is history in it self. Hope it never gets destroyed.

This was an older PADH disk, much nicer than the 1960 version just down the road. The bridge was built in 1917 and is now a driveway.

Now here is a PADH disk I can get used to finding! Nice design.

Mark is on the right side of this bridge. The keystone on the bridge has a construction date of 1917!

Looking basically south. I suspect this is the old road for the new road I came in on, to the left.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
