Looking back at previous logs, we found the spot but don't actually see the chiseled marks. Maybe they eroded over time, or maybe we just missed them.

Wasn't sure what this was at first, never saw one of these. But I could really see the square in the corner when you looked at it close in person. Finger is pointing to the spot. It is 2 lines that form a perfect square. Kinda neat, but I like the disks better. #9

Fuzzy and I were out in the area today checking out "lean-to's" and "shelters " today, and of course we had to grab a benchmark as well. It seems that you all have a lot of chiseled squares out this way, they are a rarity back home. We had fun checking this one out.

Chiseled square is very faint.

There wasn't much left of this bridge, and the coords put the mark about .1 mile to the west, but the chiseled square was very easy to find. Near the square was a bolt, one of four that once held a steel beam. It was circled in orange and marked with a number. Maybe it was a new mark.
