Found though I didn't real think it'd be here. Description is way outdated. It's at the corner of Raab Road and Main St., Normal, and between Dollar Store and the Shell Station. Cords I had were N40.31.892 W088.59.947.

LOUIS RAILROAD STATION IN CARLOCK, THENCE 1.0 MILES EAST ALONG A GRAVEL ROAD, THENCE 0.05 MILES SOUTH AAONG AN ASPHALT ROAD, THENCE 2.3 MILES EAST ALONG A GRAVEL ROAD, IN THE TOP OF THE WEST END OF THE SOUTH HEADWALL OF A 72-INCH STORM SEWER, AND 115 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD. THE MARK IS 3.7 FT BELOW ROAD.

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.) The vertical order pertains to the superseded datum.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
