Found while geocaching in the area.

I drove and Tsmola spotted as we traveled to MOGA with Team Geochef and Kalkavekkian.

Found this mark on the way down to MOGA 2010 with Team Geochef, Moldslug and kalkavekkian.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1939 (FBQ) POINT OBSERVED UPON WAS THE CENTER OF THE MUNICIPAL STANDPIPE, STEEL, APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET HIGH. NOT VISITED. OBSERVED UPON FROM TRIANGULATION STATIONS KING, ZIMMERMAN AND FEVERS. AN INTERSECTION STATION.

RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1961 (CAA) STATION WAS VISITED AND FOUND TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE STATION WAS RECOVERED AS DESCRIBED.

  • The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in October 1999.
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
