Found with Nan-D1955 on our trip out west.

I believe this is one of the 4 benchmarks I found when doing the Three Corners Virtual Cache in Yuma county Colorado.

Found it with NikCap and Geo-Nat while visiting Tri-state point, awesome location.

On a big Mexico and US roadtrip with rosmar and kiwi.bug and caching under the team name FRK17. First we flew to Mexico and then to Houston where we began an 11 state roadtrip taking in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington culminating in the Going APE 2017 mega and the reinstated APE cache.
Well we weren't actually planning to start our roadtrip in Houston, it was meant to start in Kansas City but due to flight disruptions we only made it to Houston, so had to do a one day drive from Houston to Kansas City to get back onto the original plan.

Found near Virtual Geocache

Found it.

This benchmark found on a 3 day geocaching road trip with Tumbleweed42, covering 5 states, 1579 miles (at least 200 unpaved) and 50+ of the greatest caches ever. This is my first set of benchmarks logged.

The Wolf came to visit and wanted to do some caching. We originally planned some power trails but he was really wanting to grab Mingo. What the heck I guess we can do some targeted caching for a few days around that. We left Austin at the crack of dawn ready for some action. This will be a fun trip leading up to next month's Nevada trip for some numbers and then the Arizona trip for a ton of GeoArt at the end of the year. What a great ending to a great year filled with new adventures. Thanks to all the COs who placed and maintain these caches for us to enjoy. I will be sending the answers for any caches that require them for the both of us by the end of the night when back at the hotel. Thanks!!

My trip to the location was meet with uncertainty by my wife. Our Toyota Prius was not very fond of the road to the location. We finally made it to the site and located Chaffees Corner ECC and the stone monument, Chaffees Corner.
Unfortunately, I had not looked at the Original Datasheet and the Bos Score that shows two Reference marks associated with the benchmark. It looks like I will have to make another trip thru the area to get the Reference Marks.
These state corner monuments and benchmark disks are all an adventure to locate. Some are fairly easy and some are quite difficult to access.

My crew and I found this while working on the virtual cache!

On 8-4-12 I was married to the intelligent, gorgeous, phenomenally amazing woman known as theladybee! Shortly thereafter we set upon a honeymoon excursion across the western two thirds of our glorious country. We embarked from Columbus, Ohio and spent the next two weeks packing in as much beauty as we could. We would awaken around 8am, drive and explore all day and night until around midnight, find a hotel, go to sleep, and repeat it the next day. We journeyed through 20 states: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. We marveled at 8 National Parks: Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mesa Verde, Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Badlands. We wondered at 2 National Monuments: Gateway Arch, Devils Tower. We got up close and personal with lynx, elk, rams, bear, prairie dogs, and other varmint. We paid homage to the original stash, the oldest remaining cache, HQ, and even got down at the Block Party. We targeted caches to help us qualify for challenges, to help us created challenges, challenges themselves, earth and virtual caches in the parks, and anything interesting we happened to come across. We drove 7,449 miles in total. The things that awed me, the sensations I experienced, I will remember them always, but they pale in comparison to the time I spent with the lady who is my life. The journey we took will stay with me forever. Thank you for placing a benchmark that constituted part of our journey.

What a day![/blue]
[teal]We had to be in Sterling, CO early this A.M. and, with nothin' else pressin', decided to head out to Arikaree and
Three Corners Virtual Cache and finally get them off of our wish list as well as test out the new NUVI 265.
The NUVI works like a charm and we had fun checkin' it out.
It was a nice (and loooong!) day, but we got 'em both and then some.
We put a total of 485 miles on the NUVI & rockymtn8iv's Ride and managed to score 30 caches in 3 different states with not a one [blue]DNF[/blue] ! [/teal] [maroon]
This was a fun stop and we lingered and checked out all the different markers and reference points.
We also signed the register. The "boys" had fun sniffin' around while we took pics. and did a little CITO[green]

Nice stop at three corners

If you found one Chaffes Corner marker, you find the other. Hard to miss. Now, why didn't they add the pointer marker onto here so I could count that as well?
