Easy to spot. This was a good day to explore downtown SLC and grab some benchmarks.

Saw it with my Dad and the Scouts.

Grabbed this one on the sight seeing tour! Momma and the Boys

During our vacation-trip through parts of the western USA, we did “some” geocaching.

We had a lot of fun, we saw lots of amazing places and we say thank you to everyone who shared his geocache with us!!

IowaBeaver

i do belive the the stack they are talking about is at the old childerens hospital even though the cords are at the lds hospital i can confirm that there was one on the childrens hospital stack before it was torn down

Grabbed a cache today and then went after some benchmarks!

Stack present at correct coordinates, but (as other cachers have noted) this is not the "real" benchmark stack.

Missed logging this one some time ago.

I grew up in this neighborhood. The stack is still there, although many other things I remember aren't.

Love them benchmark stacks. easy to find compared to some disks

With the modifications noted by others the stack is still intact. At the west base of the stack the measured coordinates were:

N 40° 46.761 W 111° 52.885 (NAD 83)

Logging it.

The LDS Hospital Stack was recovered in good condition.

As has been noted, this is not the Children's Hospital. The coordinates for this one were right on. The stack is currently painted white and is only about 50 feet tall.

Picture is taken from 9th Avenue.

Hello All,

I found the stack at the LDS Hosp. NOT the Salt Lake LDS Child Hosp Stack. The children hosp is no longer. There is new housing on children hosp site. The stack was right on the GPS coordinates. The stack is now one third shorter as a few years ago per the staff in the work shop area. They have never seen the benchmark...The stack is there... But,no beanchmarker
