IN PUTNAM, AT THE INTERSECTION OF WOODSTOCK AVENUE AND CHURCH STREET, AT THE EXTREME SOUTH END OF THE PROPERTY OF THE PUTNAM BAPTIST CHURCH, 12.65 METERS (41.5 FT) NORTHEAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF WOODSTOCK AVENUE, 7.01 METERS (23.0 FT) NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF CHURCH STREET, 2.92 METERS (9.6 FT) EAST OF THE TOP NUT OF A FIRE HYDRANT, 0.55 METER (1.8 FT) NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHWEST EDGE OF A CONCRETE RETAINING WALL AROUND THE SOUTH END OF THE CHURCH PROPERTY. THE MARK IS 0.30 METERS SE FROM A WITNESS POST. THE MARK IS 0.45 M ABOVE CHURCH STREET.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
