RM 1 and RM 3 found in good condition. I found a boulder at the RM 2 location with a broken off brass stub in the top. The top of the boulder was chipped off also. It looks like a vehicle hit it and broke off the disk.
The station and RM4 were buried.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in August 1998.
  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.)
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
