Nice and quite area, good condition

Still in good condition. The water was flowing nicely along the stream, but time to head to the next one.

I knew about this benchmark before I started geocaching. I went to the bench mark checked the coordinates and number and came here to verify. I found it at N 41'13.520
W 074'45.638, accuracy 10.3 feet + -. Can someone let me know what they find. This is a very easy bench mark. It is in good condition just green from age.

A beautiful example of the CCC program in the Stokes State Forest of New Jersey. This entire forest (with the adjoining Hi Point Park) is a delightful wonderland! Averaging the waypoint on a handheld gpsr, refined the coordinates to N41 13.591 W074 45.637. . . . patrick & shirley

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
