Found as described in good condition. A very satisfying find - it took some thinking and searching. The intersection is changed from when the description was written, as I-380 was built afterward. I initially searched just N of the intersection on a slight rise. Many rocks there, but no sign of a mark, so I searched S of the intersection with no luck. I took a break and really studied the description and visualized it as if the intersection was just a "T". I then estimated 168 feet from the center of Rt 611, and paced off 210 feet from the center of the road to the Army base. It took me up the rise, through some brush and about 50 feet beyond a wire fence. Just as I approached 210 feet I saw the back of a witness post jammed between a large and small boulder, with the disk clearly visible on the large one. Pretty cool to find after I had almost given up on it.

View to the S, mark is at lower left center indicated by notebook and witness post, just left of black backpack. Intersection is barely visible through trees in the background; it would be quite a different view in summer when the foliage is grown out.
