Recovered in good condition at N 41° 04.425 W 075° 37.930. Add to description, the black top road to Split Rock Lodge is known as Mosey Wood Road. The mark is in the northwest angle of the intersection of Mosey Wood Road and a black top road leading west to Camp Mosey Wood.

Found this with weakknee first on I logged I think

Found in good condition. Mark is at the top of a small rise about 22 feet SW of power pole numbered 187. There was no "dirt road east" visible and it was unclear whether several trees across the road were the "1 1/2 foot, double boled (?), maple tree." Mark was just N of the paved entry to Camp Mosey Wood - Girl Scouts of Eastern PA.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
