Found this and one of the other reference markers today while checking in on my nearby cache.

I've made note of these before but apparently never logged them.

Found this benchmark while hiking today. In good shape considering its age!

Whilst sitting looking at the view I found the benchmark (my GPS indicated that I was 2 feet away) and one of the reference points. I didn't have the listing with me to see how many reference points there were actually listed.

The benchmark itself is situated right on top of the pointy bit, possibly the summit of Butter Hill. At least one of the reference marks lies right on the orange trail as you leave Butter Hill heading towards Storm King Mountain itself.

Was a cool benchmark. Don't remember when I found so I'm logging for today.

Found it while hiking...before I started geochaching but I took a picture of it while I was there...so i was able to find it that way :-)

Found it while geocaching, 3 in the area.

Found the trio of them, looking for a cache. Great views up to the north.

Found this one on the way to Butterhill north and south. Great view from this spot. This will have been my first sighting, I just didn't know this was an option at the time. Now I do!

I found three of them here. Must be the summit of Butter Hill; found it while looking for 2 hidden caches on Storm King. Absolutely splendid view from here.

Got this set of Benchmaks during a cache hunt for Butterhill South and Butterhill North.
My first ones, kind of a nice byproduct oc Geocaching.

Benchmark is in good shape on the yellow and blue trail. It is not located at the summit just to the north east of it.
