First benchmark logged , will have to add it to my things to do,along with geocaching. I found the weathered one and a newer one near by.

saw this one while taking a lunch break from delivering in the area

First Benchmark find ever with explorerdave. Looking forward to finding more! Pic is explorerdave's, I should have taken my own.

explorerdave took this while finding the benchmark.

Found this one fairly easy while hiking and caching Camelback and SGL # 38 with frogger279. This was my first benchmark find but will not be my last.

Out hiking the trails in Big Pocono State Park and adjacent Game Lands 38 with my dog,Wesley. Foggy morning, but warm, sunny afternoon. This was a fairly easy find. The tower was not that high,so I didn`t bother trying to climb it.

Went out with entire Team_Zigbot on a beautiful Labor Day. GPS coordinates to middle of fire tower were dead on. Benchmark was exactly where directions pointed to. It was really weathered and almost unreadable. It was our first bench mark. 09/05/05 - 11:32 - Sunny - Warm 85 deg - No Rattlers sited.

Now here's a different view...

Easiest one I've found by far. This benchmark even has its own parking lot! Unfortunately, climbing the tower is not permitted. I'm sure there's a great view from up there.
