DESCRIBED BY NEW JERSEY GEODETIC SURVEY 1979 (CWW) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 2.4 KM (1.5 MI) EAST-SOUTHEAST OF SPRINGDALE, 2.6 KM (1.6 MI) NORTH OF ANDOVER, 3.4 KM (2.1 MI) NORTH-NORTHEAST OF BRIGHTON, ALONG THE EASTERN EDGE OF THE GRASS RUNWAY WHICH IS PARALLEL TO THE PAVED RUNWAY ON THE AEROFLEX-ANDOVER AIRPORT, WITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF THE AEROFLEX-ANDOVER AIRPORT. OWNERSHIP--MRS. BARBARA LORE, PHONE NUMBER (201)383-5629. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 206 AND COUNTY ROAD 669 (LIMECREST ROAD) IN ANDOVER, GO EAST AND NORTH FOR 1.78 KM (1.1 MI) ON COUNTY ROAD 669 TO A GRAVEL ROAD LEFT AND A SIGN MARKED--RUBICON ARABIANS--. PERMISSION TO OCCUPY THE STATION SHOULD BE OBTAINED FROM MR. CHRIS ZEGLEN, AIRPORT MANAGER, PHONE 908 786 5100. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 206 AND COUNTY ROAD 669, LIMECREST ROAD, IN ANDOVER, GO EAST, THEN NORTH ON COUNTY ROAD 669 FOR 1.1 MI (1.8 KM) TO A GRAVEL ROAD AND A SIGN ON THE LEFT MARKED RUBICON ARABIANS. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTHWEST ON THE GRAVEL ROAD FOR 0.2 MI (0.3 KM) TO A FLASHING RED LIGHT AND A SIGN MARKED FULL STOP, WATCH FOR APPROACHING AIRCRAFT AND THE STATION ON THE LEFT. THE STATION IS 25.0 FT (7.6 M) NORTH FROM THE RED FLASHING LIGHT AND SIGN, 21.7 FT (6.6 M) NORTH FROM REFERENCE MARK NUMBER 1, 100.0 FT (30.5 M) NORTHEAST FROM REFERENCE MARK NUMBER 2, 109.0 FT (33.2 M) NORTH FROM THE NORTH CORNER OF A TWO STORY WOOD BUILDING AND 21.0 FT (6.4 M) WEST FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE GRAVEL ROAD.   • The orthometric height was determined by GPS observations and a high-resolution geoid model.

  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The ellipsoidal height was determined by GPS observations and is referenced to NAD 83.
