Station recovered in good condition. The railroad has been abandoned, and the tracks and all appurtenances have been removed. It is now a Rails-To-Trails paved trail. Station mark recovered good. RM1 recovered good. RM2 recovered fair. RM2 is slightly tilted to the east, and the disk has been struck by mowing equipment but is still readable. AZMK searched for, not found. Measurements place it in the NW corner of the residential property at 11925 Monclova Road. Changes in land usage and landmarks are reflected with the following new information: STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 4 MILES NNW OF THE VILLAGE OF WHITEHOUSE, WEST OF STATE ROUTE 295 BETWEEN REED AND MONCLOVA ROADS. IT LAYS IN A SMALL PATCH OF WOODS/BRUSH 94 FEET WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF SR295, 47 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE PAVED RAILS TO TRAILS PATHWAY, 20 FEET NORTH OF A SPLIT RAIL WIRE COVERED FENCE, AND 1 FOOT EAST OF A STANDARD CARSONITE WITNESS POST. REFERENCE MARK 1 IS 102.7 FEET NE OF THE STATION, 53 FEET WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF SR295, 49.5 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE RAILS TO TRAILS PATHWAY, 1.2 FEET EAST OF A SPLIT RAIL FENCE, AND .8 FEET EAST OF A PAINTED METAL FENCE POST. REFERENCE MARK 2 IS 120 FEET EAST OF MC1516, 25 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF SR925, 49 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE RAILS TO TRAILS PATHWAY, AND DOES NOT HAVE A WITNESS. DELETE THE PREVIOUS REFERENCE TO A MAILBOX.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1943 (APR) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 4 MILES NNW OF THE SMALL VILLAGE OF WHITEHOUSE, 94 FEET W OF THE CENTER LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY 295, 43.2 FEET S OF THE S RAIL OF THE WABASH RAILROAD, 2.7 FEET E OF A STANDARD REFERENCE POST. THE DISK IS STAMPED DELTA EAST BASE 1943. SURFACE, UNDERGROUND, REFERENCE AND AZIMUTH MARKS ARE BRONZE DISKS SET IN CONCRETE. REFERENCE MARK 1 IS NE OF THE STATION (102.70 FEET), 53 FEET W OF THE CENTER LINE OF HIGHWAY 295, 45.8 FEET N OF THE N RAIL OF THE WABASH RAILROAD, 3 FEET S OF AN E-W FENCELINE. THE DISK IS STAMPED DELTA EAST BASE NO 1 1943. REFERENCE MARK 2 IS 119.74 FEET E OF THE STATION, 46 FEET S OF THE S RAIL OF THE WABASH RAILROAD, 25 FEET E OF THE CENTER LINE OF HIGHWAY 295, 14.3 FEET NE OF C. C. MOHLERS MAILBOX. THE DISK IS STAMPED DELTA EAST BASE NO 2 1943. THE AZIMUTH MARK IS 0.3 MILE NNW OF THE STATION, 38.5 FEET S OF THE CENTER LINE OF MONCLOVA ROAD. IT IS IN THE NW CORNER OF A CULTIVATED FIELD, 3 FEET SE OF A STANDARD REFERENCE POST. THE DISK IS STAMPED DELTA EAST BASE 1943. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 20 AND HIGHWAY 295 WHICH IS ABOUT 4 MILES E OF THE SMALL VILLAGE OF SWANTON, GO S ON HIGHWAY 295 FOR 1.15 MILES TO MONCLOVA ROAD ON THE RIGHT. *CONTINUE ON S FOR 0.2 MILE TO THE WABASH RAILROAD TRACKS AND STATION AS DESCRIBED. *TO REACH THE AZIMUTH MARK FROM THE JUNCTION OF HIGHWAY 295 AND MONCLOVA ROAD, GO W ON MONCLOVA ROAD FOR 0.25 MILE TO THE AZIMUTH MARK ON THE LEFT AS DESCRIBED. HEIGHT OF LIGHT ABOVE STATION MARK-33 METERS.

RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1968 (ETO) THE STATION AND REFERENCE MARKS NO. 1 AND NO. 2 WERE RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION AND AS DESCRIBED IN QUAD 410834, STATION 1006. THE AZIMUTH MARK WAS SEARCHED FOR BUT NOT FOUND.
