Found while grabbing <a href="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=5df4ae05-37b7-4502-941f-08e3d768ca7d">Bridger Peak</a>, right before a massive torrential downpour started. Luckily, I grabbed a picture!

Found bronze marker disk with 1948 date stamp at the given coordinates. No photo taken. It's a few yards from MP0642.

The actual lookout house was destroyed long ago. Only remnants of the foundation remain. There's a small U.S. Army structure and antenna on the site which appears to be a radio repeater.

  • The orthometric height was scaled from a topographic map.
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
