DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1933 (KTA) STATION IS IN THE EXTREME NORTHEASTERN PART OF THE CITY OF BOSTON PROPER, ON THE E SIDE OF ATLANTIC AVENUE, JUST S OF THE N FERRY SLIP, ON THE PROPERTY OF THE BOSTON ELEVATED RAILROAD COMPANY, THE SOUTHERNMOST OF TWO VERY PROMINENT, SIMILAR, RED BRICK SMOKESTACKS, WHICH WERE ERECTED IN 1901.

RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 (FLP) THIS IS AN INTERSECTION STATION. IT IS IN THE EXTREME NE SECTION OF THE CITY OF BOSTON, ON THE E SIDE OF ATLANTIC AVENUE JUST S OF THE N FERRY SLIP, AND ON PROPERTY OF THE BOSTON ELEVATED RAILROAD. THE STATION IS THE CENTER OF THE SOUTHERNMOST OF TWO SIMILAR RED BRICK SMOKESTACKS WHICH RISE OVER THE RAILROADS POWERHOUSE. THE STACK WAS BUILT IN 1901. IT IS VERY PROMINENT IN BOSTON INNER HARBOR.

  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
