Initiailly first observed in 1902, I have my doubts if this is actually the original tank. If it has been replaced, did the builders place the center in the same point as the original survey mark? Regardless, there is a standpipe here, and it may have replaced an older one.

I believe the actual mark would be the finial atop of the standpipe.

I believe this would be considered the center of the standpipe.
