Thought this would be easy so didn't bring GPS or look at satellite photo, but walked all the way around building without seeing it! On 2nd pass saw it in area roped off due to ice falling from roof, you can observe it from behind rope or sneak in to read number.

This was a quick one to find, right on the wall of the Plymouth train station / Senior Center.

Great location.

I hit a cache up the street on my way through Plymouth today.
Noticed this easy B/M located nearby.
I love these old RR Stations.

Noticed this completely unintentional, I love this location. My Grandfather was monumental in getting this place converted to it's current use. I even held my wedding reception here.

Found this while out and about at the Plymouth town-wide yard sale.

This was our first benchmark and our f***ing Garmin Oregon 300 was not working. So we did it without it.

Found in good condition. The station is now the Plymouth Senior Center. Tracks still exist but were snow covered on either side of the road.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
