Road trip from St.stephen, NB, Canada today to Bar harbor and up Cadillac mountain with goldencache007 and tink123. We had a great time seeing the sights and logging some caches. Thanks for this one.

Found with mamatwitter and goldencache007.

Stumbled across this right beside a cache. We don't tend to go out looking for these, especially since they arent on the Canadian side of the border, so this was a nice surprise.

Found while grabbing ten of hearts cache.

What a good place for a benchmark---found 'Ten of Hearts'
cache and had a great veiw .

Wonderful fall day on MDI! Big cruise ship could be seen from this point today.

Found this one while out geocaching for the day. Thanks

Found this one by accident while on a geology field trip. Looking at the rocks and found the benchmark on top of the outcrop.

Found by accident.

Found while caching in the area.

Quick find while checking out the view.

My wife spotted this today while we were stopping by for the Ten of Hearts cache, on the way home from a weekend in Acadia. This was my 2nd of two unplanned benchmarks for the weekend!

USGS Bench mark, on a scenic rock outcrop above the water (and marked 17 above sea level). Very easy to locate, opposite a motel, on the ocean side of the highway, and between the two gravel beaches mentioned.
