I didn't know this was a bench mark at the time but I saw this on my trip to Lake Placid to climb some peaks.

Our first benchmark. Found while in Lake Placid for a three day weekend.

Found this while geocaching in the area. Pouring rain. Will have to return to search out the rest of the RM's.

this one ain't so hard to find. the others were another story, and it was cold. very, very cold. and the phone was ringing and i was pretty sure that it was NFA but even though i was only about 20 feet from the phone i didn't get to it on time.

we decided to save the other marks for another day and took some pictures of ourselves at john brown's grave before continuing our jouney from here to here.

This was the only one of the JBG marks we could find toady but at least it was easy.
