Easy find. This is probably the smallest disk I have found so far.

Found this on the way to work. A little change-up from the "Geocaching" norm.

Found as described and recovered in good condition.

The railroad bridge is no longer being used and is gated off. However, access to the station is easily available by entering the parking lot to the west of the railroad bridge.

Found our first benchmark while doing a geo puzzle.
I think I am going to begin looking for more.

Found while on my bike ride. Still in good shape.

Pretty beat up but still there.

Found easily in the dark using mostly discription.

Pretty easy find. With all the construction in the area I wanted to see if it was still there.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (g = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
