Up to the top today with a gaggle of girls. Lookout was staffed and Deb pointed out 4 fires burning in Eastern WA. Benchmark easy to see and read.

Marks still there, all survived the long winter.

Still there. Fire lookout occupied for first time in four years. No fires.

The Triangulation Point Benchmark was found in good condition at the location provided in the description. The lookout is still in good operating condition. Reference Mark #1 was found intact off the SE corner of the lookout and Reference Mark #2 was also found intact according to the location description, about 30' south of the structure on a rock outcropping.

This was a fun hike with a view that was more breathtaking than expected given the effort required to reach Thorp Mtn. Some heavy snowbanks still cover the trail in places near the summit.

Once on the top, the mark was easy to find. It is next to the lookout. I also found ref. disk no. 2. Ryan
