One of the nicest BM to find. Wish they had the trail and lighthouse open to public. Terrific views in any direction. Late posting, playing catch-up from my wonderful trip to Oahu - Aloha!

I found this benchmark by accident. I didn't even know it was there. I just walked right past it and spotted it. I took picture of it.

Found with Queens Blessing. Same comments -- will add photo later, ORNITH

The Makapuu Lighthouse still stands and appears in great shape; it sure makes a great subject for photographs!

We spent the better part of this afternoon at Makapuu and found several things. This one was really hard to miss.

Out for a hike and a bit of benchmarking. The light is still there.

We spent the day with Etoa and family and hunted Benchmarks and caches all over the place.

I had found this years ago - before I started geocaching. So here I had a reason to go back to the lighthouse again.

Aloha

Didnt realize this was a BM when I logged it as a reverse. Should have know though. But that was before I graduated from BMU.
