Found right on the side of the road. Orange witness post is broken. Metal rod looks as if someone tried to pull it out. The rod is above ground level and the lid doesn't close anymore.

Found by description. The bright orange Carsonite witnes post definitely helped.

Jackonville Road to the left

Found in good shape. Concrete encasement and metal flange/lid has settled. Point sticks up through the lid. Data sheet says steel bar is 32 meters long. Elevation probably still good.

  • The orthometric height was determined by GPS observations and a high-resolution geoid model.

  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The ellipsoidal height was determined by GPS observations and is referenced to NAD 83.
