After caching at Kent State, I came this way to grab this benchmark. No missing this one.

Seen while on my weekly shopping trip with my Mom.

Found the Ravenna Municipal Flagpole still standing and in good condition while Geocaching in the area today.

Drove by on the way to the other side of town. First benchmark.

drive past this everyday.

Went by there today on the way to dinner. That is ONE TALL flagpole.

MY FIRST BENCHMARK FIND!!!!!!!

Drive past this one frequently. Now when geohubby makes fun of geowifey, she can say "see, that turn WAS to be made by THAT landmark - MB2542 to be exact!"

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1977 (JRS) THE STATION IS THE BASE OF THE FLAG POLE OF THE RAVENNA MUNICIPAL FLAGPOLE. IT IS A 40-FOOT METAL POLE ATOP A 70-FOOT STEEL TRUSS-WORK TOWER. IT IS SILVER IN COLOR AND THE OVERALL HEIGHT IS 110 FEET. IT IS LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF RAVENNA IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE COURTHOUSE SQUARE, 35.6 FEET WEST OF THE WEST CURB OF CHESTNUT STREET AND 10 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH CURB OF MAIN STREET. DESCRIBED BY D.C. FRAZIER, TYPED BY B.R. LEWIS.
