DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1946 (RCB) THE STATION IS LOCATED ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 27 AT THE JUNCTION WITH INDIANA HIGHWAY NO. 427 ABOUT 1 MILE NORTHEAST FROM WATERLOO. IT IS 98 FEET EAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE TWO HIGHWAYS, 38 FEET FOUTHEAST OF INDIANA HIGHWAY NO. 427 AND 8 FEET SOUTHWEST OF A WHITE WITNESS POST. THE MARK IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND AND THE DISK IS STAMPED MATSON 1946. REFERENCE MARK NO. 1 IS 192.74 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE STATION, 78 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 27, 61 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF INDIANA HIGHWAY NO. 427 AND 2 FEET SOUTH OF POWER LINE POST NO. 464731. THE MARK PROJECTS ABOUT 10 INCHES AND THE DISK IS STAMPED MATSON NO 1 1946. REFERENCE MARK NO. 2 IS 223.72 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE STATION AND 26 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 27.
