This cache is easier to reach than Galleri Nord but there is also plenty to discover from old war times. The fortress is open to everybody and the views from there are also stunning.

What an adventurous drive up to the top of this mountain! The views were tremendously and we didn't expect to look for the cache in ice and snow. Great experience!

Okay, nothing special about this webcam - but it was our funniest webcam cache that we ever did in August 2005. ;-) 

Egersund webcam

Fantastic and steep hike to one of the most popular fortifications in that area that were built 1908 – 1913. Crossing a waterfall you will have to climb a ladder to reach the entrance of this fort with a great view over the valley.

What a great hike through a wide and calm landscape until you reach this lonely airplane wreck! Definitely recommendable and one of the best caches we made.

There are many ways to cross the arctic circle in Scandinavia. We liked this one a lot because of the landscape and all the stone men near the visitor's center.

Polarsirkelen Royal nr2

The hike to the top is a bit exhausting and there are many tourists around - but the view from that platform is absolutely breathtaking! When we saw a picture of this place in the internet by coincidence it was clear that we had to visit this spot and go for this cache.

To us this cache was a new experience because we never stood on top of a ski jump before. And never did since. :-)

Okay, the Lofoten are always well worth a visit. We probably missed the best caches with longer hikes because of quick changing weather conditions but this one was also very nice and had a beautiful outlook.
