It gives me great pleasure to tell you 'Ashton Circular 1 - ABFTN Dog & Bone' is Griff Grof's CACHE OF THE YEAR - 2014

From 149 caches this year, this is the one I have chosen. I have listed several reasons why:

1/ A fantastic first stage to the Multi - very ABFTN
2/ An good, solvable puzzle at the second stage 
3/ The twist once everything was solved 
4/ The container was large and well-stocked - a quality cache!

It was great, and currently has 100% Favourite points which justifies its greatness! I would also like to list three VERY close runners up, in no particular order:

1/ El Pedró de Pals (GCVBCR) 
2/ The First in Wales (GC2BA)
3/ CacheWalker Twixmas Event Day - (GC5HGYE)

If I had found more caches, the whole result could have been different. For what I found, though, the winner and runners-up are no-brainers!

From 229 caches this year, this is the one I have chosen. I have listed several reasons why:

1/ There was plenty to see; workmen's tools, graffiti, a crane. 
2/ The history of the quarry 
3/ The challenge to get to GZ: crawls, squeezes - it was underground! 
4/ My first 5/5, therefore a memorable find.

I REALLY enjoyed all 5 BA caches we did, but I chose Fallen Monarch over the others due to the reasons above - it was slightly ahead, particularity in what there was to see.

From 450 caches, this one has stood out to me the most! I have listed several reasons why I chose this one:

1/ The Views - Lovely views on Cleeve Hill
2/ The Terrain - Not a boring flat area, but challenging hills :)
3/ The Hint - Such a clever hint! I understood it in the end!
4/ The Location - in the Cotswolds AONB
5/ The Effort - The CO has not just hidden any normal micro - they have really thought about it, and I can see the effort put into this cache!

It gives me great pleasure to tell you 'Mont Tendre: le sommet (1679m)' is Griff Grof's CACHE OF THE YEAR - 2017

From 257 caches this year, I've chosen this one. Here's why:

1/ The walk up and across Mont Tendre was amazing and memorable
2/ The views were so beautiful
3/ A feeling of achievement at the summit

Mont Tendre: le sommet (1679m)

It gives me great pleasure to announce that 'NameThatTune - Bonus' (GC8TDBK) is Griff Grof's CACHE OF THE YEAR - 2020
 
From 390 caches this year, I've chosen this one because of the brilliant surprise found within, and the quality of the NameThatTune series. It had a great theme, and the caches were outstanding - the tableaus within were excellent, and well crafted. The walk was superb, taking me through some lovely woodland, with spectacular views to enjoy along the bottom stretch. This final cache was my absolute favourite, and the perfect way to end the series.
 
However, whilst I have selected this cache (which is 100% worthy of the title), there was no standout winner this year - with so many brilliant caches found, and so many great walks/series completed. 

The runner-up is Be Afraid (GC91P5K), as it's a high-quality Halloween-themed cache. 

I look forward to 2021, when I hope to find o find even more brill caches.

However, whilst I have selected this cache (which is definitely worthy of the title), there was no standout winner this year - with so many brilliant caches found, and so many great walks completed.
