Look under a large rock near a bush. You don't need to dig.

Nice hike with fantastic views in the South Mountain Park.
There are multiple trails which will lead you to this cache, the last 50 feet requires a bit of rock scrambling, but if you're use to caching in this area, you'll be familiar with the scramble (it's fun!). Cache contains usual ammo-can starter stuff. If you take something, please try to leave something of equal value. Take plenty of water, watch for critters... bring your lunch, this is a great place to take a break. Happy Caching!

Quick easy .2 mile hike to the cache site. Heat should not be a factor.
The cache is hidden near the South Mountain antenna farm. The initial contents ot the cache are six antenna balls, acquired from various other caches, and one sand dollar. 
Cache is hidden in typical Arizona style. Pull off the road just south of the fence for an easy walk in. May not be suitable for dogs and small children due to number of cactus needles on the ground in the area.
As I said, "Typical Arizona style", ie. under some rocks

This is my first cache.I placed it about 20 paces off my favorite trail to walk the dogs on.You can access by coming up and over from Pima Canyon,bring water.Or you can take a shorter route(just over .5 mile)by parking at 40th Pl and San Gabriel Ave,still bring water.There is a little scrambling at the very end.The cache is an ammo can hidden Arizona style.Contents include a Travel Bug ,a Pogopod from White Bear Lake Minn.,A coin exchange and various trade items.For a side trip there is a small area of petroglyphs down by the homes and just south of the trail at coordinates N33 21 14 W111 59 74. Enjoy

You are looking for a small ammo box. The contents are a variety of tools. There is also a Conejo Cachers Geocoin in the cache. Always use caution when reaching in or under bushes and rocks.

Camelback Mountain View Cache

Best access for this cache is by parking at 40th Place and San Gabriel. Pick-up a trail about 200 meters south and hike west to the Classic trail (mountain bike freeway), follow the Classic trail to the south for about 100 meters and take the wash just before the short steep hill out of the wash. No trail is present; however, the wash and boulders will never show usage like all other unpaved established trails will – no damage to the bottom of the wash will occur. The lower portion of this canyon wash is very sandy and the mid- and upper portions further up this canyon will require more boulder hopping. This is a very low use and secluded area and there are many scrambling spots in this rattlesnake rich environment during the warm parts of the year! So this is not recommended for small kids. The cache is in a ammo can that is hidden Arizona-style and painted desert tan.

Ammo can with a mountain bike/cycling theme hidden along the Desert Classic Trail at South Mountain Park.
Suggest that you park at the Pima Canyon Parking lot at N33 21.767 and W111 59.111. The cache is located 2 miles in along the Desert Classic Trail (4 mile round trip). The trail is a multi-use trail open to mountain bikers, hikers and equestrians. Please be aware that you are in rattlesnake country and keep an eye out for them.

We parked at post 31 for National Trail. When you get close you will be able to find a primitive switch back trail that leads straight to the cache. The trail with rock steps is the wrong trail. The cache is in the middle of the ridge at the top of the primitive trail. It is buried under some rocks. View the pictures if you need more help.
