Close to the hwy, but very pleasant and a HUGE surprise. Don't drive by and miss this one!

Balancing Cache

Be sure and decrypt the hint before you leave for this one. The hint is a novel on FINDING and FOLLOWING the TRAIL and not the actual cache. A bit of a hike, it takes you through an incredible area with granite rock outcroppings, with the hide itself very memorable.

Between a rock and a hard place

Awesome view on East (Nevada) side of The Lake.
Close to stateline.

'da Boy's Vista

Nice, fairly flat hike on Nevada side, near Stateline. Strongly recommend entering area from Elks Point Dr. A slightly longer hike, but immediately into a quiet, peaceful area. A good one to take kids on.

Dad's Cache

Cool spot and clever hide. Be prepared to spend some time if you are determined to find this one.

Don't take it for Granite

I have yet to go up and visit this cache, but am very familiar with the spot and the view. View of both Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake. Go a ways farther up the dirt road from the cache, as far as the road will take you (about 4 more miles) and park. Take a 2 mile hike up to Angora Lake. After a mile hike, you will see one lake, but go another mile and you will be heavily rewarded. This is an area that you know and visit, if you are a local.

Hot View!

If you have never been to Tahoe before, you would be a fool not to stop and take in this view. Whether you log this Virtual cache or not, forget about the numbers. This spot is a must.

Inspiration Point

Start in Camp Richardson and enjoy a very nice, leisurely walk along The Lake. Ahhhhh. 

Iva-Kay Each-Bay

A bit of a steep climb, but nice view of the valley.

Pie Shop Cache

About an hours hike from the top of Emerald Bay, but heavily rewarded with spectacular view of The Lake, Emerald Bay and the island.

Rubicon Cove Cache

After walking down to the foot of Emerald Bay, be sure and take in a tour of the Vikingsholm, or at least walk the grounds. This cache takes you to a nearby waterfall area.
