Welcome to the City of Issaquah's sustainability-themed GeoTour!
Issaquah adopted its current Climate Action Plan in 2021. The City is continuing its climate work by setting goals to halve all GHG emissions, double the tree urban canopy, and reduce waste by 70%, all by 2030.
Follow the Sasquatch mascot to find 15 unique caches telling the story of climate action in the Puget Sound region. This family-friendly tour will give you hands-on understanding of critical pieces of the Issaquah Climate Action Plan and can be completed over a weekend. Celebrate the completion of this GeoTour with a commemorative GeoCoin, a full passport, and souvenirs!
Reduce the carbon footprint of your adventure by finding the downtown & Gilman Village caches on foot or bike, and travel using your Orca Card via Metro Flex or bus (routes 554, 556, 271, 269, 218, and 208).
