Patriot Trail GeoTour (GT4EE)

Here in North Alabama, we are proud of the brave veterans who have made significant sacrifices for our nation’s freedom and the North Alabama Patriot Trail is a symbol of our gratitude for their service.

This Trail features various memorials, museums, and parks across North Alabama honoring veterans of the United States military. Many of the memorials list the names of local residents who died while serving in the armed forces, starting from the Revolutionary War up to present-day conflicts. The museums and parks contain military artifacts, vehicles, and equipment showcasing the history of various wars and conflicts.

Special geocaches have been hidden at sites along the North Alabama Patriot Trail taking you on a patriotic adventure through North Alabama.

Cachers who record 15 of 19 locations are eligible to receive a North Alabama Patriot Trail Geocoin.
