Three's Company Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

RGS: Jack Tripper is in a better resting place now, so it's time to retire this cache also. I enjoyed reading all the logs and the stories again on the visits with the Janet, Chrissy, and finally Jack. This is a great park, so this opens up an area or two for another cache. Maybe a 'R.I.P., John Ritter' cache would be appropriate.

Geocache Description:

There was a TV show in the late 70's-early 80's called Three's Company. This is about a cache that didn't want to be alone in the woods and now it has company. So......

Jack, Janet, and Chrissy lived in an apartment owned by Mr. Furley. There are three waypoints out here; Jack being the actual cache (6" x 12" tupperware) and the other two are for "company". At the coordinates above is the starting point and a sign. Read the sign carefully and you will find a very subtle clue which will indicate which waypoint contains the cache. You, as Mr.Furley, must find Jack and make sure everything is OK (You can visit the girls if you like). If you decide to use the "brute strength" method, you will find a small note from the girls and unfortunately nothing else. This way you won't spend too much time searching for nothing. Depending on your methods of hunting, you might want to mark the waypoint of your car and the exit point on the trail if you can't see the waypoint.

See PA's log from July 10th. I also got turned around after placing one of the WP's and ended up .3 miles farther in the woods before I realized I was going the wrong way or on the wrong trail; not sure which. Mean Gene, is this another "Twilight Zone"?

All of the waypoints can be accessed using existing trails and are located within 400 feet of a trail. The trails are well used and wide, and there is hardly any underbrush at the waypoints, so wearing shorts is not a problem.
The three waypoints are:
1- N38° 30.772; W090° 35.387
2- N38° 30.957; W090° 34.892
3- N38° 30.757; W090° 34.771
Remember, the clue can save you some some time unless you want the exercise.
See my July 14th log for some additional information on the clue.
Please indicate in your log if you solved the clue or just lucked out. I need that info when setting up my next cache.
