Geocache Description:

BRING YOUR OWN PEN OR PENCIL

Professor Builtwell who developed the Atomic Cake Mixer and the Mechanical Separator for Chicken along with many other great marvels of our time has been murdered in his Builtwell Estate. However, your new assistant has some breaking news! The Professor was NOT killed at Builtwell Estates. He was killed somewhere else but his body was moved here in hopes it would look like an accident.

Your job is to uncover the clues at various locations to solve the Great Professor Builtwell Murder Mystery. This will be no easy task and you will have to visit the sites of all the clues. Investigate the areas and discover the three main things to bring the suspect to justice! You will need to solve Who, Where and What Weapon? Once you know the right information you can find the actual location of the suspect (Bonus Cache) and apprehend them.

It will not be an easy task. You will have to decode the clue listed below to get the exact location AFTER you have solved the mystery. The letter found will help you pinpoint the exact location. You can decrypt the letter before you solve the mystery but it will not help you. You will have to solve the mystery.

You will need to visit all the cache sites in order to know who did what and where. This will eliminate some as they have motives and others will remain guilty right to the end. Good Luck Detective!

THE BONUS CACHE IS NOT LISTED AT THE ABOVE COORDS. SOLVE THE OTHER 5 TO GET THE BONUS CACHE.

Crime Scene Locations

The Suspects

  • Mrs. Willander - A socialite known for her bad cooking
and a passion for the outdoors. It has been rumored she
    was the Professor's mistress.

  • Major Pringle - A Chip off the old Block! He wants to be like his
dad, General Frito Pringle. He is the key person in new
    technology for this area.

  • Frank Lee Speaking - Loves to talk. Loves to Eat. Loves life.
Hates Crowds. He was beaten at the Boastmasters competition
    by Professor Builtwell.

  • Bubba Gumm - Superhuman strength and not too smart.
He collects earwax. He has a criminal record and was the
    Professor's Gardener.

  • Passa D' Salt - A guru of programming languages and a real
mean cat juggler. Passa was in a dispute with the Professor
    over software rights.

The Murder Weapons

  • A Plant Stem - Used just right, it can be driven through the ear
    of even the largest man.

  • Wet Noodle - Used in bulk to choke a victim.

  • A Razor Sharp Envelope - And you thought paper cuts were bad!

  • Ninja Death Biscuits - Harder than steel, these biscuits can
    penetrate a steel wall.

  • A Thumbtack - Several together can be extremely dangerous.

There are the locations and other information you will need to bring this hideous unmerciful person to justice. Please help us make the streets a safer place. Solve this as quickly as possible. You will be rewarded!

One other thing. The clues will be hidden at the coords listed at the locations. Each of these locations can be logged as a cache. They all contain logs. Please let me know in the log how these looked. Do they need to be replaced? Can you read them OK? Etc...

The bonus cache can be logged as well. This gives you 6 caches to solve the mystery. The original cache contents are well worth seeking. Don't worry about swapping items. Just take one thing. I will keep it stocked as it gets found.  There is a special prize for the first finder. You will have to seek it and claim it to find out what it is. Remember, detectives don't solve cases in just a few minutes, sometimes it takes days so be patient!

Clues are for each site. MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE THINGS EXACTLY LIKE THEY WERE!
EACH CACHE WILL NEED TO BE COVERED WELL DUE TO THEIR PUBLIC LOCATIONS.

Here are the suspects, weapons and locations to find the murderer. Good Luck!! PS: If using Watcher or a PDA without pictures, you can still solve this. I have put the titles under the pictures for you.

If it was "suspect" you would use that as the final coordinates. It's the same with the weapon and location. Remember to decrypt the cryptogram above!
